"The Organization of Turkic States has supported us in the 44-day patriotic war and showed solidarity with the Azerbaijani people," Fuad Muradov, chairman of the State Committee for Work with the Diaspora, told a panel discussion on "Current Situation and Future Prospects of Diasporas in the TDT Member States" at the Second Diaspora Forum of the Organization of Turkic States in Bursa, Turkey.
Fuad Muradov said that Armenia is opposing the agreement without drawing conclusions from the new realities:
"The reason is that it knows that the Zangazur corridor will open new opportunities for the Turkic world, and unilaterally refuses to implement this project. It is clear from the attitude of our states and heads of states that the opening of this corridor will serve to strengthening the Organization of Turkic States. At the same time, this corridor will contribute to the confidence and successful implementation of the proposal of former Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev to draft a document entitled `The Future of the Turkic World – 2040’."
