Fifth Congress of the World Azerbaijanis ends in Shusha 

The closing ceremony of the 5th Congress of the World Azerbaijanis was held in Shusha today, Report informs.

According to Report, Head of the Humanitarian Policy, Diaspora, Multiculturalism, and Religious Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration Farah Aliyeva presented honorary titles, orders and medals to the Diaspora representatives awarded by order of President Ilham Aliyev. In her speech, Farah Aliyeva said she was glad to see diaspora representatives in native Shusha.

As a result of the discussions, the final documents of the Congress - the resolution of the Congress, the appeal of the representatives of the V Congress of World Azerbaijanis to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, the appeals of the V Congress of World Azerbaijanis to the world community, and appeals of the 5th Congress of the World Azerbaijanis to the UN Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) and the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP), the appeal of the V Congress of World Azerbaijanis to the world community on the mine problem created Armenia in the liberated territories were adopted unanimously.

The event approved the new composition of the Coordinating Council of World Azerbaijanis. President Ilham Aliyev was elected as the Chairman of the Council, and Fuad Muradov as Executive Secretary of the Council.
