Descendant of Iravan Khan arrives in Baku

A descendant of the Iravan Khan living in Germany, Amir Ali Sardari Iravani, who also has family ties with the Qajar dynasty, arrived in Baku.

Report has learned from the State Committee for Work with the Diaspora of Azerbaijan that Chairman of the State Committee Fuad Muradov met with a descendant of the Iravan Khan. At the meeting, the parties talked about the Azerbaijani history, culture, as well as the immeasurable damage caused by Armenians to the rich heritage of Azerbaijanis.

Amir Ali Sardari Iravani noted that, except for the Blue Mosque, not a single historical monument remained in the city of Yerevan, built by his grandfather Huseynali Khan. Amir Ali shared interesting information about his genealogy and spoke about his relationship with the Qajar dynasty.
