The Azerbaijani Society of British Columbia has spoken out against discriminatory treatment of Azerbaijani-language literature in Canadian libraries.
Report informs, citing Azerbaijan’s State Committee on Work with Diaspora, that the society has launched a petition protesting the lack of Azerbaijani-language publications in Canadian libraries.
The petition highlights that for an extended period, libraries have unjustifiably refused to accept donated books in Azerbaijani, despite repeated offers from the diaspora.
