Azerbaijan Society of America names winners of scholarship program

The Azerbaijan Society of America (ASA) has announced the winners of the 2022 fall semester scholarship program, Report informs referring to the State Committee for Work with Diaspora.

The competition was held to encourage Azerbaijani students who showed a desire to promote Azerbaijan among the American public.

This year’s winners are Elnura Musazade, a student at CUNY Baruch College in New York, and Vusala Islamova, a student at Drexel University in Pennsylvania.

Each student received $3,000, which was sent directly to the university to cover tuition costs.

The scholarship program is fully funded by American Azerbaijanis and ASA members.
