Association of Friends of Azerbaijan condemns Armenian lies propaganda in France

President of the Association of Friends of Azerbaijan in France, former member of the French Parliament Jerome Lambert has criticized the attempts of the French media to form a hostile attitude towards Azerbaijan, Report informs referring to the State Committee for Work with Diaspora.

The head of the Association first drew attention to the statement of the head of the French state in an interview with the French magazine Le Point on August 23 - “Today we are doing our best to find an agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan that will establish a lasting peace and protect peoples and cultures. This peace treaty is necessity, but it must be in accordance with international law.”

Jerome Lambert stressed that the Association of Friends of Azerbaijan regrets the existence of political forces and elected officials who violate the principles in order to incite hostility against Azerbaijan under the influence of the Armenian nationalist lobby in France: “Some French media and elected officials, regularly receiving false information from the Armenian lobby, take steps contrary to the interests of France in the South Caucasus region and international law.”

He stated that the Association of Friends of Azerbaijan condemns all provocations committed as a result of such actions.
