Action to commemorate victims of Khojaly genocide held in Germany

An event dedicated to the 32nd anniversary of the Khojaly genocide was held in Cologne.

The State Committee for Work with Diaspora told Report that Azerbaijanis living in Cologne and nearby cities and representatives of friendly communities took part in the action organized by the European Azerbaijan Center in front of the Cologne Cathedral.

The participants of the action were shown informational posters depicting Armenian vandalism, and books, flyers, and brochures published in German and English were distributed to city residents. Visitors also got acquainted with a photo exhibition dedicated to the victims of the Khojaly genocide.

The event, which was attended by more than 200 people, ended with the performance of the overture to the opera "Koroglu".
