Uzbekistan's entry into the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation will strengthen ties between Turkic peoples. The Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation (TCHF) has implemented numerous projects related to Uzbekistan, which is an integral part of the Turkic world, according to the Foundation's announcement regarding Uzbekistan President Shavkat Mirziyoyev's declaration of readiness to become a full member of TCHF, according to Report.
"We, the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation, express our deep gratitude to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, His Excellency Mr. Shavkat Mirziyoyev, for the trust and would like to emphasize that this initiative is a great honor for us. During the period of its activity, the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation has implemented many projects related to Uzbekistan, which is an integral part of the Turkic world. The implementation of this initiative by the President of Uzbekistan contributes to further strengthening fraternal ties between the Turkic peoples with a common culture, rich heritage and centuries-old history, as well as expanding cooperation between the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation and the Turkic countries in the direction of studying, preserving and promoting our cultural values," the statement says.
Mirziyoyev announced this initiative at the 11th Summit of the Organization of Turkic States held in Bishkek.
Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Türkiye are the founding countries of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation, while Hungary is an observer country.
