Spain is ready to host the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 if Ukraine fails to do so, said Maria Eizaguirre, Communications Director of RTVE, the Spanish state television and radio company, Report informs via TASS.
RTVE offers support to Ukraine with everything in the competition's organization next year, Eizaguirre said, adding that if Ukraine needs it, Spain will be ready to host Eurovision 2023.
Ukraine's Kalush Orchestra won the 66th Eurovision Song Contest in Turin with the song "Stefania," a tribute to band frontman Oleh Psiuk's mother. The UK finished second, while Spain finished third.
