On April 25-26, the Consonance International Music Festival will be held in the Azerbaijan pavilion at the Exhibition of Achievements of National Economy in Moscow.
Report's Russian bureau says that starting from the beginning of this year, the children's music school named after Gara Garayev has announced the acceptance of the application for participation in the project. During this period, more than 100 candidates worldwide submitted applications. The best of them will have the opportunity to perform for two weeks.
The participants of the event will be the winners of international competitions from Russia, Turkiye, Azerbaijan and Germany, students of music and art schools, and special music schools.
The guests of the event will listen to the works of composers of the XX-XXI centuries. The festival will feature works by Albéniz, Debussy, Fauré, Martinů, Villa-Lobos, Scriabin, Rachmaninoff, Prokofiev, Shostakovich, Gara Garayev, Shchedrin, Slonimsky and other composers.
