Maestro Niyazi's memory honored on occasion of his 110th birthday anniversary

The memory of Maestro Niyazi, the outstanding conductor and world-famous composer, People's Artist of the USSR, Hero of Socialist Labor, laureate of the state prizes of Azerbaijan and the USSR, was honored in connection with his 110th birthday anniversary.

Report informs that representatives of the Ministry of Culture, public figures, employees of the Azerbaijan State Museum of Musical Culture, famous cultural figures, composers visited the Alley of Honor and laid flowers at maestro's grave.

The merits of the outstanding composer in the development of the musical culture of Azerbaijan were emphasized during the speeches.
