European Film Festival to open in Baku with screening of Czech film

The Czech film "Owners" will be screened in Baku on November 14, with Azerbaijani and English subtitles, Report informs referring to the Czech Republic Embassy in Azerbaijan.

The screening will open the annual European Film Festival organized by the EU Delegation along with Embassies of EU Member States in Azerbaijan.

Admission is free of charge.

The story of the 2019 film by Jiří Havelka unfolds at a regular meeting of flat owners that is supposed to review the state of the house they all share. A young woman who is entrusted with chairing the meeting and approaches the task with enthusiasm is about to find out that willingness to act as well as to compromise are essential for collective decision-making.
