Envoy: Azerbaijan, Japan actively working on green energy projects

Azerbaijan and Japan are actively working on a number of joint projects in the field of green energy, Japan’s Ambassador to Azerbaijan Junichi Wada told Report at an event dedicated to Japanese culture.
“For 30 years now, excellent diplomatic relations have been established between Azerbaijan and Japan in both the political and economic spheres,” he noted.
According to the ambassador, until recently, relations between the two countries developed largely in the oil and gas sector, but now more attention is paid to the field of “green energy”, agriculture, logistics, etc.
Wada also emphasized that today’s event will contribute to the deepening of cultural cooperation between the two countries.
