The presentation of the feature documentary film “Foggy Mountains of Shusha” dedicated to the cultural capital of Azerbaijan, has taken place in Washington, the US bureau of Report informs.
The presentation, held at the United States – Azerbaijan Chamber of Commerce (USACC), was organized by the Azerbaijani Embassy in the US and the Washington International Piano Arts Council (WIPAC).
The ceremony was attended by diplomats from embassies accredited to the US, members of the public, members of the Azerbaijani community, including students studying in this country.
The event first honored the memory of the victims of the earthquake in Turkiye with a minute of silence.
The documentary film was created with the organizational support of the Public Association of Cultural Relations “Unquenchable Torch” and the financial support of the State NGO Support Agency and Public Television of the Republic of Azerbaijan in connection with the announcement of 2022 as the “Year of Shusha” in the Republic of Azerbaijan by order of President Ilham Aliyev.
