Dean: Multiculturalism important for deepening Azerbaijan-Israel co-op

The idea of multiculturalism is important for deepening cooperation in the field of education between Azerbaijan and Israel, Zehavit Gross, dean of the Education Faculty at Bar Ilan University, told Report.

“Education is a fantastic mediator for the development of the ideas of multiculturalism. We must intensify scientific projects between Azerbaijan and Israel in this area and contribute to strengthening peace and educating students in the spirit of peace,” she said.

Gross emphasized that it is necessary to apply creativity and take this idea seriously, further improve and integrate it into the curricula.

“If we actually implement this initiative, we can get something new, something that has never been done in the past,” the dean added.
