Baku to host International Jazz Festival

The XVIII Baku International Jazz Festival starts in Baku on October 6, Report informs, citing the Ministry of Culture of Azerbaijan.

The festival is organized with the support of the Ministry of Culture and will last until October 15. The festival will include concerts of famous jazz performers and other interesting events.

During the festival, musicians from 15 countries will perform a special program, including Grammy Award winners and nominees - US jazz and rap artist Theo Crocker, jazz harp performer Edmar Castaneda and musician Grégoire Maret.

On October 14, a concert by Brazilian vocalist Mario Bacuna will take place at the Heydar Aliyev Center.

The program of the jazz festival will also include the traditional international competition of young jazz performers I am Jazzman!, meetings with the winners of Jazz & Vinyl and Grammy, researcher Fuad Akhundov, and the White Birds of Jazz exhibition of the artist Eldar Gurbanov will be held.
