Baku to host exhibition on friendship between Heydar Aliyev and Chingiz Aitmatov

An exhibition dedicated to the friendship between National Leader of Azerbaijani people Heydar Aliyev and famous Kyrgyz writer Chingiz Aitmatov will be held in Baku next year, Eldar Aitmatov, son of Chingiz Aitmatov and an artist, told Report.
According to Eldar Aitmatov, the exhibition will be organized at the Heydar Aliyev Center in the spring of 2025. The artist said that he proposed to the President of Azerbaijan to hold the exhibition at the Heydar Aliyev Center.
Aitmatov said that he frequently participates in exhibitions of Azerbaijani artists held in Kyrgyzstan.
"I am grateful to Azerbaijani intellectuals for cultural relations with Kyrgyzstan. When I come to Baku, it feels like coming to my own home," he stated.
