Azerbaijani deputy minister of culture embarks visits Georgia

A delegation headed by Azerbaijani Deputy Minister of Culture Sevda Mammadaliyeva is on a visit to Georgia, Report’s Georgian bureau informs.

The deputy minister, along with Azerbaijani Ambassador to Georgia Faig Guliyev, embassy staff and CEO of SOCAR Energy Georgia Mahir Mammadov paid tribute to the memory of national leader Heydar Aliyev by visiting his bust in the Heydar Aliyev Park in Tbilisi.

On June 3, Mammadaliyeva will take part in an exhibition and conference dedicated to the 880th anniversary of the great poet and thinker Nizami Ganjavi, organized by the Azerbaijani Embassy and the Museum of Azerbaijani Culture named after Mirza Fatali Akhundzada at the Tbilisi State Academy of Arts.

Outstanding cultural figures of Georgia will be awarded at the event.
