Azerbaijani culture minister to visit Mexico

The delegation led by the Azerbaijani Minister of Culture Anar Karimov will participate in the World Conference on Cultural Policies and Sustainable Development (Mondiacult 2022) of the Ministers of Culture of UNESCO member countries, which will be held in Mexico City, on September 28-30, Report informs, citing the Ministry of Culture of Azerbaijan.

Mondiacult 2022 aims to give a new impetus to the global policy dialogue on culture for sustainable development, building on the initiatives launched by UNESCO. More than 1,500 guests, including ministers of culture from 160 countries, are expected to participate in the conference.

During the visit, Minister Anar Karimov is expected to make a speech on "Heritage and cultural diversity in the period of crisis", and hold a series of bilateral meetings.
