On May 28, the Azerbaijan Pavilion of Moscow's Exhibition of Achievements of National Economy (VDNKh) will host ceremonial events dedicated to Azerbaijan's Independence Day, Report informs.
The concert program will be opened by the laureates of All-Russian and International competitions, winners of the main prizes of reputable music festivals - Ibrahim Naghiyev (cello) and Dmitry Tsyganov (piano). They will perform works written by Azerbaijani composers Gara Garayev, Alakbar Taghiyev and others.
An open-air concert will be held as part of the event. Guests of VDNKh will have the chance to enjoy the Azerbaijani ballet, as well as the incredible skills of the soloists of the Moscow Regional State Academic Theater "Russian Ballet" under the direction of People's Artist of the USSR Vyacheslav Gordeev.
Against the backdrop of the majestic building, scenes from the ballets "Seven Beauties" by Gara Garayev, "A Thousand and One Nights" by Fikrat Amirov, as well as the choreographic miniature "Mugham" to the music of Nazim Aliverdibayov will be presented.
