Azerbaijan Independence Day celebrated in Vienna

An official event dedicated to the 107th anniversary of Azerbaijan's Independence Day has been held in Vienna, Azerbaijani Ambassador to Austria and Slovenia, Permanent Representative of the country to the OSCE and other international organizations in Vienna Rovshan Sadigbayli wrote on X, Report informs.

"Proudly celebrated 107th anniversary of the Independence Day and the Armed Forces Day of Azerbaijan at famous Hans Moser Villa, the seat of the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Vienna. On this day, we reflect on the glorious independence and development path of Azerbaijan. 107 years after the Declaration of Independence, the ideals, values and traditions of the people of Azerbaijan pursued by Azerbaijan Democratic Republic and reflected in our Constitution, thirty’s anniversary of which we mark this year, are still the guiding principles for our journey towards new horizons as independent and sovereign State.

I thank Ambassador Gerhard Sailler, deputy director general of the Federal Ministry for European and International Affairs of Austria for being with us and for his valuable remarks. I also extend my gratitude to the OSCE Secretary General Ambassador Feridun Sinirlioglu, my fellow Ambassadors, colleagues and friends and members of our vibrant Azerbaijani community of Austria for joining us on this important day!" he wrote.
