Azerbaijan, Bulgaria to sign Cultural Co-op Program until 2030

Azerbaijan and Bulgaria will sign the Cooperation Program in Culture for 2025-2029 in the near future, Report informs referring to the Bulgarian Ministry of Culture.

This issue was discussed at a meeting between Minister Marian Bachev and Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Sofia Huseyn Huseynov.

"I believe that Bulgaria and Azerbaijan have a common desire to deepen good cooperation not only in the energy and transport sectors, but also in other important areas such as culture, education, science, information technology and innovation," Bachev noted and proposed to intensify ties in various fields of culture.

The minister of culture expressed confidence that in the context of bilateral cooperation in the field of culture, the signing of the "Cooperation Program in Culture between the Republic of Bulgaria and the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2025-2029" will be another important and positive step towards intensifying cooperation between the countries.

"The Ministry of Culture will continue to actively work to expand cooperation with Azerbaijan, including through the organization of mutual cultural weeks," the ministry noted.
