Azerbaijan and Turkiye may cooperate in search for stolen artworks

Over 4,000 artworks taken or stolen from Turkiye have been returned from foreign countries, said Gokhan Yazgi, Director General of the Turkish Cultural Heritage and Museums Department, at the meeting of the Second Azerbaijan-Turkiye Joint Culture Commission, Report informs.

He stressed that they are interested in cooperating with Azerbaijan in this direction: “Work is underway towards cooperation with other countries.”
