Azerbaijan and Croatia discuss cultural heritage restoration

Azerbaijan's Minister of Culture Adil Karimli, who is on a visit to Zagreb, Croatia, held an official meeting with Croatia's Minister of Culture and Media Nina Obuljen Korzinek, Report informs, citing the Ministry of Culture of Azerbaijan.

The current state of bilateral cultural relations and future prospects were discussed during the meeting.

In his speech, the Azerbaijani minister emphasized that cooperation between Croatia and Azerbaijan is successfully developing in all areas, and expressed confidence that the visit of the Azerbaijani delegation to Croatia will give impetus to a new stage in relations between the two countries.

Azerbaijan's Minister of Culture Adil Karimli thanked for the warm reception and noted that the sincere friendship relations formed at the level of country leaders create a favorable foundation for expanding cultural cooperation.

The parties stated that the main purpose of the visit is to contribute to the implementation of agreements reached at the third meeting of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Azerbaijan-Croatia economic cooperation held in Baku on March 13, 2024.

During the meeting, extensive exchange of views was held on culture and creative industries, film and music sectors, including the organization of training and workshops on the protection and restoration of cultural heritage, and cooperation opportunities between experts and institutions in relevant fields. Both sides emphasized the importance of maximizing the use of existing potential.
