Ancient Azerbaijani rugs will be auctioned in Austria, Report informs, citing the foreign press.
According to the information, Azerbaijani rugs are among the exquisite, ancient oriental rugs and kilims that will be auctioned by the Austrian Auction Company next month. The initial price of Azerbaijani rugs from the second half of the 19th century ranges from 2,000 to 3,000 euros.
Austria Auction Company’s auction “Fine Antique Oriental Rugs XXXV & Tribal Art 4” will take place on Saturday, December 2, 2023, at 4 p.m. local time. The auction includes 282 lots, among them fine antique Persian, Turkmen, Caucasian, Anatolian, Shahsavan, East Turkestan rugs, and more.
