Young people from 35 countries to attend COP29 in Azerbaijan

Young people from 35 countries will be invited to the Youth Camp on Climate Change, organized as part of COP29, Leyla Hasanova, Youth Climate Champion for COP29, stated at the conference themed Accelerating Research and Collaboration for Climate Action held as part of the Baku Climate Action Week, Report informs.

Hasanova emphasized that the project’s goal is for these young participants to promote climate education in their home countries after the event:

“It is crucial to foster intergenerational dialogue on climate action, not only in Azerbaijan but worldwide.”
