Yalchin Rafiyev mulls private sector role at COP29 in Washington

COP29 Lead Negotiator Yalchin Rafiyev has held a meeting with business representatives in Washington to discuss private sector opportunities at the upcoming COP29, Report informs.

"COP29 Lead Negotiator Yalchin Rafiyev met with the business community in Washington DC to discuss opportunities for the private sector at COP29. The roundtable hosted by the US Chamber of Commerce focused on the role of the private sector to scale up climate finance, active participation of the business community in the realization of the COP29 Action Agenda and the importance of continued engagement," according to the COP29 Azerbaijan page on X.
