The international community is not investing enough in climate finance, Maryna Ovtsynova, president of ALLATRA international public movement said at the COP29 climate conference in Baku, according to Report.
"We don't realize how close we are to the point of no return," Ovtsynova warned. She emphasized that environmental pollution has reached its peak, and the global community must urgently address this issue.
Ovtsynova pointed to the steady rise in the number of natural disasters as evidence of the worsening climate crisis.
"We cannot continue polluting the planet at the same rate and expect positive changes," she added.
