The participants of the international forum themed “COP29 and Green Vision for Azerbaijan” have embarked on a visit to the Karabakh region, Report informs.
Representatives of 64 think tanks from 30 countries are taking part in the trip.
The first point of arrival for the guests was the city of Zangilan, where they got acquainted with the newly built Zangilan International Airport.
Experts will also visit the city of Lachin, where the international forum, which began the day before in Baku, will continue its work.
The forum participants will discuss preparations for the COP29 conference, which will be held in November this year in Baku, and Azerbaijan’s activities in the field of green energy.
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev declared 2024 as the Green World Solidarity Year in the country.
