Food production plays an important role in achieving the goals of the Paris Agreement, Uruguay's Minister of Agriculture, Fernando Mattos Custo, said at a COP29 event titled "Launch of Baku Harmoniya Climate Initiative for Farmers: Empowering Farmers for Climate Resilience" held in Baku, Report informs.
"Latin America, which is associated with developing countries that are highly sensitive to climate change, accounts for 14% of the global food production.
