The UK is ready to partner with Azerbaijan to drive forward clean growth technologies ahead of the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29), which will be held in Baku in November, the British Consul General in Istanbul, Trade Commissioner for Eastern Europe and Central Asia Kenan Poleo said on X, Report informs.
Poleo noted that the UK business community is ready to support Azerbaijan in promoting new, innovative and environmentally friendly industries.
According to him, the UK and Azerbaijan have been closely cooperating in the energy sector for the past 30 years, but it is time to take this cooperation to the next level.
