UK Ambassador discusses preparations for COP29 at Azerbaijan State University of Oil and Industry

UK Ambassador to Azerbaijan Fergus Auld visited the Azerbaijan State University of Oil and Industry, where he discussed the upcoming COP29, according to Report.

"Today Ambassador Fergus Auld visited the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University to discuss the University plans for COP29 and learned that the University adopted green strategy," the UK Embassy said in a post on the social network X.

The 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29) will be held in Azerbaijan in November this year.
