UAE minister: COP29 in Azerbaijan to be a landmark success in combating climate change

The United Arab Emirates is confident that COP29 set to be hosted by Azerbaijan in November, will mark a historic success in the battle against climate change, Ohoud Bint Khalfan Al Roumi, the UAE's Minister of State for Government Development and the Future, said.
According to Report, speaking at a forum in Baku, the minister congratulated Azerbaijan on hosting COP29 and praised the country's innovative efforts in promoting renewable energy and sustainable development.
"Considering Azerbaijan's pioneering initiatives in advancing renewable energy sources and sustainable development, we are certain that COP29 under Azerbaijan's leadership will be a landmark achievement," the minister said.
