Türkiye to showcase its climate actions at COP29 in Baku

Türkiye intends to present its measures taken in the fight against climate change at the COP29 conference in Baku, Türkiye's Minister of Environment and Urban Development Murat Kurum said at the opening ceremony of the Turkish pavilion at the Baku Olympic Stadium.
Report quotes him as saying Türkiye is taking a more active part in COP29, adhering to the principle of "one nation, two states."
"At COP29 in Azerbaijan, we will also discuss financial mechanisms related to climate change," he said.
