Turkish official: Digital tech dev't plays crucial role in human life

The advancement of digital technologies is playing an increasingly significant role in human life, said Muhammet Kasim Gonullu, the Deputy Minister of Industry and Technology of Türkiye, Report informs.

Speaking at the High-Level Roundtable on Green Digital Activity, Gonullu emphasized that there are techno parks operating in Türkiye to contribute to the development of digital technologies.

"We are striving to contribute to the establishment of digital infrastructure," Gonullu stated. "Efforts in this direction need to be strengthened. We are also implementing work principles to increase digital literacy. As in all sectors, here it's necessary to involve small and medium-sized entrepreneurs in the process. We expect to gain significant contributions from the green digital agenda. This is important for achieving the targets at COP30."
