SPECA Multilateral Trust Fund presentation at COP29 in Baku

A presentation of the Multilateral Trust Fund of the UN Special Programme for the Economies of Central Asia (SPECA) was held at COP29, Report informs.
Speaking at the event, Ministry of Economy advisor Asgar Alakbarov emphasized that the Fund, which was announced at the SPECA ministerial meeting on November 14 during COP29, is an important initiative for addressing regional challenges.
The organization is conceived as a mobile and inclusive platform to ensure practical steps in key areas.
This includes developing trade links, increasing climate resilience, promoting innovation and digital transformation.
The Fund provides tools for implementing effective projects aimed at addressing climate issues and sustainable development.
