СOP29 preparations at their peak, deputy minister says

Preparations for the highly anticipated COP29 climate conference in Baku, Azerbaijan, are currently at their peak, with all work expected to be finalized by early November, according to Vugar Karimov, Deputy Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources.
According to Report, speaking to journalists, Karimov emphasized that the event, set to take place from November 11 to 22, is poised to be one of the most engaging and influential COP conferences to date.
"As part of the preparations, management centers have been established with the participation of various institutions," he added.
He noted that the decisions made at this critical gathering will have far-reaching effect for global efforts to mitigate the effects of climate change.
