Simon Stiell: Expectations from COP29 in Baku are high

There are high expectations from COP29 held in Baku, Simon Stiell, Executive Secretary of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change, said while answering journalists' questions at a press conference held on the second day of COP29, Report informs.

Stiell said he is hopeful that COP29 will yield results:

"Requirements will be set according to existing needs regarding climate change. We believe that support from all countries will increase. The private sector will also be put on the table as a key source of financing."
