Reza Deghati: Azerbaijan's hosting of COP29 tremendous contribution to country's global promotion

Azerbaijan's hosting of the COP29 climate conference is an immense contribution to the country's promotion on the global stage, renowned photojournalist Reza Deghati told Report.

Deghati emphasized that COP29 attracts presidents and other officials from numerous countries, as well as hundreds of well-known individuals. They have the opportunity to familiarize themselves with Azerbaijan's achievements in the field of climate change and the country's future plans.

"I am thrilled to be a participant in this event. The 'Green Zone' particularly caught my attention. As an architect, I can say that this zone has been prepared in accordance with Azerbaijan's unique characteristics," Deghati remarked. He added, "I believe that compared to the previous COP conferences I have attended, COP29 will make a more decisive contribution."
