Resident-coordinator: UN supports development of initiatives under COP29

The Office of the Resident Coordinator, together with UN agencies, supports the development of initiatives under COP29, UN Resident-Coordinator in Azerbaijan Vladanka Andreeva told journalists, Report informs.

“Together with my colleagues, we are supporting initiatives at the global level, and at the country level, we are trying to raise awareness of measures to combat climate change. In parallel, we continue to implement the Cooperation Framework for the period from 2021 to 2025. As part of this work, we are providing support to the government in many sectors, including the fight against poverty or the proper use of investments,” Andreeva added.
