President-Designate of COP29 meets with President of EIB

The Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of Azerbaijan, President-Designate of COP29, Mukhtar Babayev, met with the President of the European Investment Bank (EIB), Nadia Calvino, Report informs, citing COP29 official X account.

“Excellent discussion with Nadia Calvino on the sidelines of the IMF meetings in Washington today. The EIB and other multilateral development banks have a critical role in unlocking climate finance at greater multiples - making it more affordable and more accessible,” the post said.
