Pietro Parolin: CO29 to help achieve progress in solving climate issues

COP29 will help achieve progress in addressing climate issues and implementing concrete actions, Vatican Secretary of State Cardinal Pietro Parolin told journalists on the sidelines of COP29, Report informs.

"This is my second time in Azerbaijan. My previous visit was a year and a half ago. I am also impressed by the level of organization of the COP29 conference," he said.

He noted that the climate crisis is one of the most important problems of the modern world.

"Unfortunately, measures to address this problem are being taken very slowly. I am confident that COP29 will help achieve progress in addressing climate issues and implementing concrete actions," he said.
