The Czech Republic hopes for the swift achievement of ambitious goals in the fight against climate change, Deputy Minister of Environment of the Czech Republic, Petr Holub, told Report.
"We need to expand the base of financial contributions from developed countries to support those most in need," said the deputy minister, noting that he expects Azerbaijan to advance these initiatives.
He also emphasized that the Czech Republic has prepared a net-zero strategy and has already begun implementing it.
"We have prepared a strategy for transitioning to zero emissions, so we are on track to meet EU goals in 2030 and transition to net-zero by 2050," he concluded.
