Panel discussion on carbon pricing held in Baku

A panel discussion titled "Carbon Pricing: Existing Challenges and New Strategies" was held in Baku as part of COP29.

Report informs, citing the State Tax Service (STS), that the event participants discussed effective methods for combating carbon emissions.

STS Head Orkhan Nazarli called carbon pricing one of the most effective tools in fighting global climate change.

The discussion, moderated by OECD Deputy Secretary-General Fabrizia Lapecorella, also addressed the most fundamental factors causing global warming and climate change.
