Nigerian minister: 'We are focused on important issue of funding'

Azerbaijan has done well in organizing such a large event, providing parties with a platform for negotiations, Nigeria's Minister of Environment Balarabe Abbas Lawal told Report.
According to him, the negotiations are proceeding successfully.
"We are focused on the most important topic - financing," he said. Speaking about the final declaration, the minister expressed hope that the parties would agree on climate financing. "We really hope for this. There were many promises made in Dubai, but most of them remained unfulfilled," the minister noted.
