Nigar Arpadarai: Decisions made at COP29 will cover all areas

COP is not merely about environmental protection. It encompasses a much broader concept, focusing on shaping a completely different economic model for the future, UN Climate Change High-Level Champion for COP29, Nigar Arpadarai, told a media workshop on effective communication strategies held within the framework of the 29 Climate Conversations: “The Road To COP29” in Baku, Report informs.

“The decisions made here will impact all areas. COP29 in Azerbaijan will be significant in terms of clarifying many important decisions, especially the financial target,” Arpadarai said.

“The upcoming COP29set to take place in Azerbaijan will be important in terms of specifying many important decisions, especially the financial goal: “This process involves not only organizations and states but also economic and financial institutions, banks, investors, etc. We will witness global decisions,” she stressed.
