Nearly 40 emergency medical teams to operate at COP29

Around 40 emergency medical teams are set to be on duty during COP29, Vugar Gurbanov, Executive Director of Administration of the Regional Medical Divisions (TABIB) in Azerbaijan, told Report informs.
Gurbanov noted that the registration process for the medical staff is nearly complete.
In particular, Miralam Jalalov, director of the Republican Emergency and Urgent Medical Care Center, stated that 24-hour medical services will be available at all accommodation facilities for event participants.
He emphasized that all regional resources will be utilized, ensuring that emergency medical teams will be present from the airport to the accommodation facilities and at the event locations.
COP29 will take place in Baku from November 11-22 this year.
