Mukhtar Babayev participates in event hosted by US Chamber of Commerce

Mukhtar Babayev, Azerbaijani Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources and COP29 President-Designate, took part in the event hosted by the US Chamber of Commerce, according to the post of COP29 on X, Report informs.

“At an event hosted by the US Chamber of Commerce, COP29 President Designate Mukhtar Babayev spoke to the importance of the private sector in creating a better future, recognized those that are already leading by example by setting net-zero goals and science-based targets, and urged companies to send clear messages to their governments to raise climate ambition for NDCs and come to COP29 real actionable commitments,” reads the post.
