Mukhtar Babayev discusses preparations for COP29 with Russian envoy

Ecology and Natural Resources Minister of Azerbaijan Mukhtar Babayev met with Russian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Mikhail Evdokimov, Report informs, citing the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources.

At the meeting, issues of environmental protection and opportunities for further cooperation were discussed, and views were exchanged on preparations for the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29), which will be held in Azerbaijan this year.
