Minister: Türkiye takes measures to reduce emissions

Measures are being implemented in Türkiye to reduce emissions, Turkish Minister of Infrastructure and Transport Abdulkadir Uraloglu told a meeting with media representatives on the sidelines of COP29, Report informs.

Uraloglu noted that he had discussions about infrastructure and transport at COP29:

"At COP29, we are talking about climate change. We are also sharing the work being done in infrastructure and transport sectors in Turkey and around the world."

The minister highlighted that Azerbaijan is hosting such a major event after liberating its territories from occupation:

"The organization of the event is at a high level. I thank you for such organization."
